Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Cory Bloor, doing business as Coach Larry ("Coach Larry", "we", "us"), collects from you, why, and what we do and do not do with it.
Mobile information is never sold or shared for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as our SMS delivery provider, is permitted solely to operate the messaging program. All other categories of use exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information you enter yourself: your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
- SMS consent records: the date and time you checked the consent box, the page you checked it on, and your confirmation reply.
- Coaching information you choose to share with us: workout schedule, nutrition log entries, and your replies to our check-in messages.
- Basic technical information generated when you visit this site, such as IP address and browser type.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this site, and we do not buy, rent, or import contact lists from anyone.
2. How we use it
- To send you the fitness check-ins, workout reminders, and nutrition log updates you signed up for.
- To deliver and adjust your coaching plan.
- To answer you when you contact us or reply HELP.
- To keep records proving that you consented to receive messages, as required by law and by mobile carriers.
3. Text messaging and your consent
You join the Coach Larry SMS program only by entering your own mobile number on our sign-up form and checking a consent box that is unchecked by default. We then text you once to confirm; you reply YES to complete sign-up.
Messages are recurring and automated, approximately 4–10 per month. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. We will send one confirmation and then stop messaging you. Reply HELP for assistance, or email hello@trycoachlarry.com.
4. Who we share information with
We share your information only with service providers that are necessary to run the program, and only for that purpose:
- Our SMS delivery provider, which transmits messages to your carrier on our behalf.
- Your mobile carrier, which delivers the message to your handset.
- Hosting and email providers that operate this website and our support inbox.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or a valid government request. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or affiliates for marketing.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your contact information and coaching records for as long as you are a client, and we keep SMS consent and opt-out records for at least four years after you unsubscribe, as required for carrier and regulatory compliance. You can ask us to delete everything else at any time.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Stop the texts: reply STOP to any message.
- See your data: email us and we'll tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct or delete your data: email us and we'll do it, except where we are required to retain consent records.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Email us to exercise them; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Children
Coach Larry is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting the SMS program will be announced by text before they take effect.
