Coaching that keeps up with your week.
Coach Larry is a new personal fitness and nutrition coaching service run by Cory Bloor. One-on-one coaching built around your actual schedule and your actual goals — and, if you want it, a text check-in to keep things on track between sessions. It's free while it's this new.
How coaching works
Every client is different, so nothing here is off a shelf. The shape of it is the same for everyone:
- We talk first. A conversation about what you're training for, what your week actually looks like, any injuries or history I should know about, and what's gone wrong with previous attempts. No plan gets written before this.
- You get a plan built around your week. Sessions scheduled at times you'll realistically make, progressions that fit your starting point, and nutrition targets that survive contact with your real life rather than an ideal one.
- We adjust as we go. Plans meet reality and reality usually wins. Travel, a bad week of sleep, a tweaked shoulder — we work around it rather than pretending it didn't happen.
- You stay accountable between sessions. This is where the optional text check-ins come in: a short prompt before a scheduled session, a question about how recovery is going, a nudge to log a meal. Some clients want them, some don't. Both are fine.
What's included
- An intake conversation covering goals, history, injuries, and schedule.
- A training plan written for you, with scheduled sessions and progressions.
- Nutrition targets and a simple logging routine — no weighing every gram.
- Ongoing adjustments as your schedule, recovery, and progress change.
- Optional text check-ins, if you want them.
Who it's for
People who want structure and someone paying attention, rather than another app full of workouts they won't do — whether that's getting back into training after time away, building toward something specific, or being tired of starting over every few months. Since it's just me and it's new, I can only take on someone I can actually do a good job for.
Where this is at, honestly. Coach Larry is brand new. Right now there is exactly one person on the text check-ins — me — and there is no charge for any of this. I'd rather get the coaching and the messaging right at this size than open the doors and do a bad job of both.
The enquiry form below is real. If you're interested in coaching, send it in and we'll talk about whether it's a fit. I'm not promising a slot, and I'm not taking anyone's money yet.

We never buy, rent, or import phone number lists. Every number we message was entered by the person who owns it, through the form on this page.
Text check-ins
Text check-ins are one optional part of coaching — plenty of clients skip them entirely and get the same plan and the same attention. If you do want them, you'll get a small number of recurring, automated messages tied to your coaching plan:
- Workout reminders — a heads-up before your scheduled session.
- Recovery check-ins — a short question about how your body is feeling.
- Nutrition log updates — a nudge to log meals, and confirmation when your log is updated.
What the messages look like
Coach Larry: Good morning! Your workout is scheduled for 5:15 AM. How is your recovery today? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Coach Larry: Your nutrition summary for Monday is logged: 115g protein. Remember to log your evening recovery walk. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Message frequency: recurring, approximately 4–10 messages per month, depending on your coaching plan.
Cost: Coach Larry does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
To stop: reply STOP to any message at any time and you will be unsubscribed immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@trycoachlarry.com.
Consent is never required to buy coaching or to use any part of our service.
How to opt in
Text messages are an optional extra, not part of signing up for coaching. Joining the SMS program takes three steps:
- You fill in the coaching enquiry form below. Only your name and email are needed — the mobile number and the SMS consent box are both optional, and the form submits fine without either.
- If you want text check-ins, you enter your mobile number and tick the SMS consent box. It is unchecked by default and nothing is pre-selected for you.
- Your check-ins start from there. Every message identifies Coach Larry as the sender and carries STOP and HELP instructions, and replying STOP to any of them unsubscribes you immediately.
Declining texts costs you nothing — you get the same coaching, and we follow up by email instead. We do not collect phone numbers by any other route: not verbally, not on paper, and not from any third party.

We've got your number and your consent on record, and your check-ins will start from here. You can reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
We'll get back to you by email shortly. You haven't been signed up for text messages, and we won't text you.
You ticked the text check-ins box but didn't leave a number, so there's nothing for us to text. Reply to our email with your mobile if you'd like them.
